2014 Smart Gardening Conference
Winter blahs? Tired of feeling cooped up and ready to stretch your legs and mind?
The 2014 Smart Gardening Conference will warm your soul while renewing your garden spirit! Smart Gardening educational themes including nationally known author and garden magazine columnist Melinda Meyer will inspire us with design ideas for year-round plantings in every nook of your garden. Doug Tallamy brings us all home with details on how anyone with a patch of earth — no matter how small — can make a contribution to biodiversity. Plus three other great presenters!
A much larger venue this year, Ballroom C/D in DeVos Place, the conference will house over 15 local vendors displaying classic art, books, great plants, hypertufa, food items and spring-scented stuff!
Our all-time favorite “goody bags” stuffed with value will be adorned with a perky pansy that is sure to get you in the mood.
Lots and lots of wonderful door prizes will be awarded, included gift certificates to various greenhouses.
As long as we receive payment and your conference registration by Friday, February 28, you will receive a ticket to the 2014 West Michigan Home and Garden Show. (Remember your Smart Gardening Conference name badge will also serve as a “free pass” into the 2014 West Michigan Home and Garden Show as well.)
